| How to show a YouTube video in China

I have a need to publish videos for consumption in China on a website in our control but on a server in China. These aren't political - strictly for business purposes. I understand China has banned YouTube videos. The obvious tact would be to use a proxy server but these tend to be slower than molasses on a cold winter day. I'm looking for other options.

obvious would be to host the video on the server in China.
if that won't work for some reason,....
pay for some hosting and put the video there. maybe on a subdomain of your primary domain name. make a single page website just for the showing the video. link to it from the China website.
