I've not encountered this before because I have never had such a large hand in the work done on a site of this nature. So my question is what would be a likely retainer fee and what should be expected of me, to put things in perspective I am UK based and the site is a user generated ad based site for a specific market, like auto-trader or a dating site in functionality. There are currently no other coders involved in the project but this will probably soon change when the next major development gets underway. I expect to be doing things like administering e-mail accounts, reviewing/analysing stats, making minor adjustments/tweaks to existing pages, monitoring the performance of the site and making development suggestions based on that. I'm sure a lot of you have a better idea of what can be expected from which I should be able to work out a suitable fee.
