I am quiting Google alerts due to the fact hackers have begun linking to thousnads of sites in the hopes the SEO is using alerts under the most obvious terms domain names.

When checking the alert the sites are hacked and attempts to infect my computer with their crap.

Just tired of worring with this and decided to call it quits with any and all alerts.

It is a real useful tool in finding ripped content I used it many years, but with the web getting like it is just not worth losing my system.

You would think Google would not want to be the one spreading this malware and take actions to not add sites infected into the alerts, but that hasn't been the case and not worth the risk anymore.

It has gotten very bad. I check the link address now before I click. I gave up suggesting Google Alerts to clients.
