I adjusted the withholding for my full-time job midyear, so I shouldn't owe anything as a result of my additional AdSense income. I was surprised by how much extra I had to take out, but better pay as I go than a big chunk when I file.

Thanks a lot there golocal! lol Thinking about taxes always gives me nightmares, headaches, etc. Nothing worse than this junk! My opinion is we need a flat tax, that would be so much easier on one's brain. The tax code is written so even those who went to college to study it, cannot understand some of it, so how can the rest of us "simpletons"? ;-)

Here, here, for the flat tax! But what would all those accountants do? They would go out of business!

The gentleman from Ohio votes FOR a flat tax :) Although it would have an economic hit... what the heck would all of those morons in Congress do if they couldn't write another 3,000 pages of confusing tax code for a living.

I tip the government quarterly, so I should be good as well. One more tip to go for the 4th quarter... ;-)

| Exactly! Most likely they'd be mucking up other things just as badly. (In case it wasn't obvious, this is a vote AGAINST a flat tax.)
