Hi, About 2 months ago I update my site I have about 50 landing pages and only about 1-2 are showing as top queries. I noticed all of them are indexed but only the main content of my site is showing up in top queries. I have about 12000 URL pages and about 7000 or so are indexed. So its like 50 landing pages followed by the main content urls of my site like. All of my previous starred queries in google webmaster tools are not showing up only about 5 are barely showing impressions. Could this be because i have all of these types of urls in my sitemap? I have both a xml and an html sitemap both which contain the landinpages.... Is it advisable for me to just include the landing pages in my sitemap and drop the other urls listed below? Can someone share some insight?

This probably has nothing to do with the sitemap, providing these pages are findable via natural linkage on your website. An XML sitemap itself is only advisory, a suggestion to the search engine that these pages exist. Providing pages are indexed, then an XML sitemap does not help with search engine ranking.
only the main content of my site is showing up in top queries.
What is it about your "landing pages" that should make them rank higher than your main content? Are your "landing pages" more relevant to these particular search queries than the main content?
