Hello,

We are developing a mobile site for our client and at the moment the site is going to sit on the m. subdomain but I have seen more and more mobile sites using url.com/mobile and was wondering if there is a benefit for this regarding SEO, analytics or something else.

What are your opinions?

Many thanks

My first choice would be responsive design, however my answer to your question would be the m. subdomain.

I've been using a joomla extension that does a very good job of converting a site to mobile without the need for a separate subdomain.
