>a separate IP This tends to be an 'add-on' for hosting packages and is typically $1 a month per IP. IPv4 IP addresses are in short supply and you may find they cost slightly more than $1/m/IP

I have a managed VPS package and I can do what you said - set up separate users for each domain, use unique IP for each domain. All these features and many others are available via WHM (Web Host Manager), a software that allows more control over multiple CPanel accounts. It is used often by web hosting resellers.

I think you would be better served by a reseller account. then you could set up totally separate accounts with their own login/password, control panel, and space/transfer allotments. before you buy, ask the reseller provider if they can accommodate your IP requirements. addon domains on a shared hosting account are very handy, but best used when only one person is involved. if you let others use the space via addon domains, their heavy use of their addon-domain-website could use up all the space/transfer allotment of the whole package, causing the whole group to be suspended for exceeding the allotment.

| In my multi-domain hosting subscription it is mentioned unlimited bandwidth, unlimited space. I want to just separate the domain for specific users. Does multi-domain hosting provides this separation that's the question. | I think you would be better served by a reseller account. |
| What is the price difference ?

The key words, so many times I have seen "complaints" about web hosts because they didn't provide something that they hadn't explicitly offered.

One question out of the context, I have one domain hosted on a shared hosting server, subscription says that i have unlimited bandwidth and space, How to verify host is telling truth? Also 5 domains hosted inside multi domain hosting, will the total space or bandwidth will be distributed among all domains? or each domain is separate, its just that they come under one subscription, so a single person can manage them easily.

Unless explicitly advised otherwise I would expect allowances to apply to the account as a whole. Unlimited? Despite having failed a maths degree I know that nobody can have infinite storage or bandwidth. They just expect that with a large customer base the usage will simply average out. When something new comes along that has everybody requiring more capacity at the same time they will start screaming about "fair use".
