msg:4534857 | 12:27 am on Jan 10, 2013 (gmt 0) | Hi, I hope someone can help me resolve this issue because Admin at my web host has gave up on me. This problem started after changing my ISP. I cannot login to my VPS FTP server anymore. It seems that it is having timeout error and directory and file cannot be retrieved from the server. I am not fully convince that this is not ISP issue alone because I can connect via FTP on my other account on different plan with the same web host. To resolve the issue of Webhost vs ISP problem, I did signup to another web hosting company and migrated my account. However, that didn’t resolve the issue. Same problem still exists. All accounts under the VPS is inaccessible via FTP. Does WHM/Cpanel config have to do with this problem? So far, here is what I have done: - Tried various FTP clients like Filezilla and WinSCp but having the same error - Tried to use a different ISP and I can successfully connect to all FTP servers - Tried Active and Passive mode but to no avail - Whitelisted my ISP’s IP address - SFTP is not working also - Increases Idle time and Timeout Here are the errors that appears on various FTP clients: FILEZILLA: Error: Connection timed out Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing WINSCP: Timeout detected. Could not retrieve directory listing Options: -a -l 25 matches total Error listing directory '/'. CUTEFTP: ERROR:> Timeout (60000 ms) occurred on receiving data from the server. 226-Options: -a -l 226 26 matches total What else should I do to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance.

So, FTP on the router is not blocked. Also, I have discussed this with my ISP and they told me that no ports or IP is blocked.
