| Finding the right online project manager I can't be the only one who needs this... |

Basecamp would be a good choice if there were any way to organize the files you upload, but they took that option away for reasons I cannot understand. You just have to stuff all your project files in one big list and browse through them to find what you need. I need something that lets me do multi-file uploads - I work with photos, so I can have 30 images of one item, and it's less headache to stash them on a flash drive and hope I remember to carry it everywhere than it is to upload these one by one. I also need the ability to categorize these uploaded files - folders, tags, I can make almost anything work, it's just Basecamp offers no options at all. I also need the ability to forward an email to a project so it becomes a task. That's about it. I need the other basic sort of features that most of these things seem to offer. I have spent 6 hours so far, and cannot find anything that actually does all three of those things. At least not in the price range I can afford, which is... I'll consider anything that's less than about $45.
