Add rating to a flat html/css site? ChanandlerBong msg:4483643 6:56 pm on Aug 10, 2012 (gmt 0) I have a flat html site, no WP, no CMS, just plain html, although I use .php extension and all my includes are php includes. I want to add some type of rating system to the site, so that each page/article can be rated...up/down, points, haven't decided exactly how I would like to implement it. I have mysql access so I could do something db-based if required, but not sure if there's anything simple I can plug in or whether it would have to be coded from scratch. One other thing - I can't have the rating on the page/article itself, only on a page where several of them are listed/indexed. Long story, but that's just the way it has to be. any ideas?

I think the Webmaster General forum is likely to be too general for such a specific question. I suggest posting it elsewhere, perhaps in a PHP-specific or the CSS forum. My feeling is that you will need to implement a database/php solution.
