|How to require users to give you a social signal before download?|
| 1:11 am on Jul 30, 2012 (gmt 0)|
I created a tool to dissable Google instant in all major browsers in one click.
Users are downloading it for free, not thanking me, and not commenting on the blog for feedback as I asked.
So I want to "make" them give me a Google+, Twitter or any kind of social recommendation, before they get access to the free tool.
Any idea how I could go about doing that? I can use and CMS available out there.

Forcing people is difficult as you will reduce the uptake.
You could just put reminder screens with buttons to tweet and +, etc, before they get the download. It's no good putting the request afterwards as they are off playing with their new toy.
