Digital asset management might be a better title.
I wonder if anyone has had any experience in online data storage, distribution and retrieval?
We has a vast amount of digital assets that are often requested by clients, pack shots, documents, 3d images, trailers etc.. and we are looking for a platform that easily allows us to get this information to our clients in business to business environment. This functionality primarily required by non tech savvy sales people who need product information and assets for sales pitches for example.
My initial thoughts were FTP but that was ruled out as being to clunky and complicated for the non-tech savvy.
In an ideal world I would like a visual solution, a web based front with a simple interface which allows the user internal or external to locate, manipulate and distribute digital assets.
If anyone has had any experience with this kind of service it would be great to hear your thoughts.

There are so many . . . Dropbox is one of the current darlings being used right now, seems to work for the tech savvy and not so tech savvy. It's free up to a point, then you pay a minimal fee for space. The cool(ish) thing about it is you don't have to go to a site, log in, and download every time.
It creates it's own resource directory on your computer. Clients drop files into the Dropbox and you don't need to go to the site and download them, it syncs them for you, just open your local Dropbox folder.
