Any decent free or shareware wysiwyg html editors?

I know it sounds cheapskate but if you don't ask, you don't get.

I need reasonably modern java script - we have some popup menus that will be encoded in the page. But other than that I just want a basic wysiwyg html editor.

Did you try a search on Google? There are lots of free ones about.

No I didn't search google, I was really looking for a recommendation from a person :-) someone who had used it!

Not sure, possibly not.

I guess I may be able to use FrontPage though I am told it is awful!

Actually I have a HotMetalPro6 disk at home, perhaps I may use that, the only thing is it likes to correct html and teh suchlike but it is now using outdated rules to do this so it can break perfectly good code.
