| Will IP reputation taint a future website?

We're in the process of migrating our website to a new host. When I try to load the cPanel using the IP address, my internal firewall says this:
Request denied by WatchGuard HTTP proxy.

Should we worry? Our website has nothing to do with this category -- we sell consumer-electronics parts. Will this have an affect on spam blacklists, search engines, etc? Or maybe firewalls of our customers?

I don't know for sure but I would worry. I would get a new IP address and let it be somebody elses problem.

We inherited an ip address last year that was on the ATT RBL - took a few months to get it off. Next time, in the same situation, I'd look into getting a new ip address.
