I'm doing a site for someone and they want 'tweet this' buttons at the bottom of articles for users to tweet stuff.

Does anyone know any scripts where you can pass a URL and it makes a link for tweeting the article?

I've found stuff for blogger and wordpress but not for normal websites.

Thanks...

Sorry - It's PHP/Mysql driven with my own backend.

I like addthis. They give you buttons to share on many networks, and it is as simple as copy pasting a JavaScript snippet.
