More than one category for one article
Posting Article in more than one category. Is it wrong?

Is there any impact on search engine rankings if i am posting single article in two categories.? Like if i am posting an article under news category (as main category) and internet news category (as sub category),then will it be leading to a post duplication issue or not?

FYI: I am using excerpts on my category pages.

Thanks for any help in advance :)

You might want to consider first whether using multiple categories for an article will benefit your site visitors.

If you're concerned about duplicate content then canonicalize the primary page and hide the other page(s) from the SE bots using robots.txt.
