Traffic declines this past week or two?

June and July are always slow months for my site, but this past week has had less traffic than other years. It doesn't seem to be reflected in the search engine results, as the percentage of visitors from Google, Yahoo, MSN (Bing) and other engines is the same.

Has anyone else noticed a more pronounced decline in traffic recently?

We have been pretty steady this year... We seem to be "stuck" at a certain point and can't get past it. I find this interesting since we are growing our site by a few hundred pages a day, but traffic none the less always remains the same.

June and July are always slow months for our retail sales site. People are out getting sunburns and having barbecues. :-)

Agreed. I've always thought it would be a sad development (though I might not complain) if people were buying from me rather than going to jr's ball game, taking walks in the park, working on the yard etc. during the nicer months. It's a strange thought from the perspective of a proprietor, but I tell myself the societal benefits outweigh those of my bank account.

Besides, you should have had 2 good weeks to strategize and impliment new content, products, designs and the like. Slow sales doesn't mean you can't keep busy!
