Could be a few hours (not) or might be a week (most likely) or could be a month or two. In these days of FAST everyone seems to think business actually works fast. It does not. If no change in a week an initial query is reasonable. Give it a few days.

These days, a few hours to 1 day is most common. 3 days is at the outer limit of normal. Anything longer than that could mean you've had an ongoing recurring problem and they're not convinced the problem is really solved, or it could mean there currently IS a recurring problem, the security vulnerability wasn't fixed, and the site's infected again.

Ten hours later and my site is up and running again! So it was between 2 and ten hours (I had a good sleep in between).
