I would recommend redirecting both of those index URLs to "/" and linking only to "/" when you refer to your "home page" in links on your site. Shorter, prettier, and standard. Jim

It isn't my index page. It is a few pages on my site. There are htm versions and asp versions. I want the asp pages to point to the htm pages.

It could work if he had ISAPI_Rewrite installed on the Windows server, but that's a 3rd party app and it's not free.
