use of logos in website design permission from major brands johoney msg:3877034 5:07 pm on Mar 23, 2009 (gmt 0) I'm creating a site for a company that has provided services (retail infrastructure and installation) to high-end retailers in Manhattan.
Do I need permission to use their logos in the new site?
And assuming that I don't get permission can I use photos of the exterior of their stores?
Wondering where the lines of intellectual property rights are on this issue.

Lawyer advice only comes from lawyers.
IMO Your client runs the risk of ticking off a customer and/or getting taken to court. Get your client to secure permissions. If they are happy with your clients work,
they should be happy to give permission.
