I like FM SiteSearch pro, which is highly configurable, can use MySQL or flat file indexing and is very easy to integrate into an existing site design.

| I have been using it on a site for about 7 years, it can index your site OR URL's of your choice, very fast and no issues. HTH

I've also used Sphider for some time without any issues. It's fast, clean and has easily customizable source code.

The thing I don't like about swish-e is that it is confusing to me. I still haven't figured out how to get "descriptions" in addition to "titles" to display in the results. The thing I do like about swish-e is how small the file is that holds all the data. One site with 1,200+ pages has a file size of 3.2m
