msg:3468437 | 10:05 pm on Oct 3, 2007 (gmt 0) | Is there a Yahoo! equivalent of the Google Webmaster Tools, and in particular, the Google URL removal tool? I have recently taken down a hacked early version of WebCalendar from my site, set some bot traps in the old folder, edited robots.txt and .htaccess appropriately (about a month ago) and cleaned up the Google index so it no longer has any entries. But Yahoo! still has about 150 references to the calendar pages on my site, and I am noticing one or two innocent visitors following Yahoo! search results and getting caught in my bot traps because they are clicking on outdated, non-existent WebCalendar entries. (Anyone now trying to visit that calendar gets directed to my antibot script). Many thanks for any advice. I've sent in a feedback question to Yahoo! but I had a feeliing I might not get a prompt reply (myISP is a Yahoo! affiliate so I'm familiar with their customer responsiveness lag times.
