My website offers an online service and we are about to launch a tiered-pricing schedule with different levels of membership (bronze/silver/gold/platinum). I am looking for some guidance on how to best go about doing this. 1. What are the best methods for laying out/describing the different membership levels on my site? I have seen some companies use tables and charts to compare and contrast the costs/benefits with each membership level. Is this a good course of action? If not, what is?
2. What is the best method for taking orders with a tiered pricing plans? Should I put 'add to cart' tabs next to each tier or should I have a drop down box where the customer can choose which tier he or she wants? Are there other, better options than these two?
I basically want my customers to clearly see what it is that I'm offering to them and I want them to very easily be able to order what they want. Any and all advice is much appreciated. Feel free to dumb down your answers for me and feel free to go into as much detail as possible.
