Website Baker any experience with this CMS? Tarquin msg:3250443 8:02 pm on Feb 12, 2007 (gmt 0) I did a few searches to see if this has come up before but all I could find was this:
I am interested to see if anyone is using it or has any experiencing using it on their sites? Thoughts, feedback, etc.. would be greatly appreciated...
Also, if considering using a CMS - how does this affect optimization and our ranking in search engines. Will using a CMS hinder it? or help it?

Using a CMS will not hurt you. The pages that are rendered are just HTML like anything else. A bad CMS will produce a slow or badly-designed product - so beware of that angle.
OpenSourceCMS has reviews and demos available. Website Baker is here:

I have no experience with it myself. I use Drupal.

Thanks Jo1ene - and sorry for the late reply on my own thread.
My main concern is that 1) not many people are using it from what I can tell and 2) in terms of SEO its really hard to work with as I am mainly used to straight HTML programming and 3) the lack of use of CSS is awful!
Your right that is just produced straight HTML but I find it inflexible and am only finding bad points about it now!
Once again thanks for the post!
