As with so much other things in life, it depends ... Hosting them on your end: -- additional bandwidth and server load on your end generated by the other sites' visitors fetching your banner from your site ++ you may gain some sort of detailed usage statistics of the other sites' pages displaying your banner Let them host on the other end: ++ no own bandwidth and server load -- no control about their usage Kind regards, R.

Provide them with the code pre-written, and at least give them the option of leaving the image on your server. Make it dead simple; every extra step in the process will cost you links.
