As with so much other things in life, it depends ...

Hosting them on your end:
-- additional bandwidth and server load on your end generated by the other sites' visitors fetching your banner from your site
++ you may gain some sort of detailed usage statistics of the other sites' pages displaying your banner

Let them host on the other end:
++ no own bandwidth and server load
-- no control about their usage

Kind regards,
R.

Provide them with the code pre-written, and at least give them the option of leaving the image on your server. Make it dead simple; every extra step in the process will cost you links.

God bless you two chaps for answering, I think I will go ahead and offer the code and offer a download.... make it easy and give them a choice.

anyone else care to weigh in on this very HOT topic!
