Spam woes

Does anyone have some tips on blocking spam from reaching the mail queue?

The server is running WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.8.2-R119
RedHat 9 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0 and the mail software is Exim. I have SpamAssassin running as well, but it seems that the volume of spam alone is taking up too many resources for the server to keep up with.

I've check the logs and it's not coming from a single IP or cluster of Ip's, so blocking IP addresses wouldn't work.

Doees anyone konw of any good techniques or software (anything) for dealing with spam?

Are you using any DNS blacklists?

On a couple of Exim boxes I'm currently using sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org, bl.spamcop.net and relays.ordb.org and am blocking lots of spam before it even gets to SpamAssassin.

There are others you could try, but make sure you understand how hard-line they are before you set them up, or you risk blocking stuff you actually want.
