Trying to find a solution for client that needs a daily television show uploaded by remote producer and playable on television in endless loop until the next day's show is uploaded. Investigated blip.tv, itunes and roku but these dont appear to have looping functions and Youtube has no ftp uploader. Looking into open-source players but was hoping for solution that didnt require large computer to be connected to the tv.

TonyBags, welcome to WebmasterWorld. I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do. Is your client the producer of the show? What do you mean by "playable on television"?
