Can anyone recommend an easy to use video creation software? I have made powerpoint type videos with a video of me embedded in the presentation but it takes so much effort to create. I use these videos in my blog and email marketing as well.
I'm on a mac by the way

Have you taken a look at iMovie? It's only $15 and has a lot of features:
