taylors, I'm not really sure what you could do to "streamline" the process. Wht you are doing sounds very basic. Are you asking about editing the videos?

I use Adobe Premiere. Works great and there are lots of online tuts available. This won't streamline it but if you are looking to make more powerful edits this is a great tool.

It depends on what type of video you are doing... Something for your company I would recomend something like Sony Vegas and a nice camera with HD for nice clean video you can find something for under $300 that will do great. Not saying that your ipad or android will not give you good quality but if you are shooting for business less shaking of the camera and good audio is important.
