you can create a text link, but as far as a real CLICKABLE link no video program is going to be able to make that happen. the links people toss on top of youtube videos aren't done with a video editing program, its done via a youtube overlay.

Flash ( as opposed to using WMM )?

well it would just spit out an FLV, that FLV would be the same as the mpg, avi, what have you....video is just video.
whatever web player wrapper you put around that video will do the link magic.

But you can put links in flash ..wherever/whenever you want them ..and overlay them on the underlying video file when you want on the timeline.

as in Flash MX or whatever version it is now?
im really thinking hard here and i cannot recall a time when any sort of video file had clickable links on the actual video, i have seen programs shoot you out a flash video then get you some supporting code to play it and add some extras to it but behind it was just the normal video file.
hmmmmmmmmmmmm! if you are correct please post a link i'd like to see this :-)

I don't know about a link ;-) ..I'm theorizing about how G would be doing it ( in the past ) ..but I'm going to ask my son ( who works with flash ) to see if..
a) he knows if it is possible with flash..
b) he knows how to do it ? ..
c) he knows of a link to somewhere that explains it ( contingent upon the response to (a) being yes ;-)..
might take a while..might have to test it to see..and its near midnight here ..so at the very very very ..earliest it would be tomorrow evening, Paris ( Europe ) time.
btw..most recent Flash we have is CS5 Pro ( MX was a while back )..part of the CS5 Master Suite.
