I am about to add video to my site, I was wondering is it better to use your own video hosting - thus making your site rank for Google Video results, or use youtube - thus getting ranked in the 2nd largest search engine.
Or what other alternatives would anyone recommend?

I have WordPress and they offer video for a modest annual fee. What I liked about it was that it was instant. As soon as I did PayPal, video capability was up.
