Windows Media Player Parameters
Need a parameter that leaves the static picture after the video ends.

I embedded a one minute commercial in a client site. Works great. I would prefer to not loop it, but with loop = "false" the box collapses at the end of the video leaving a blank white space and the control bars.

Is there a parameter that will cause the final clip to continue to show in static form?

If you embedded it then you can't guarantee what helper app will be launched by the browser to run it.

In fact you can't even say if the person viewing it is using windows.

It is a poor assumption to make that all your viewers are using WMP.

I doubt you will be able to control the players from the server. Such abilities open up exploits and thus have been closed.

If you want all users to have the same experience you might have to convert to Flash or something.

Could you place the player in a same-size table and have a background image for the table (the frame you want) be revealed when the player "collapses"?

Thank you Demaestro and ftwb05. I finally converted the videos to flash because Firefox users couldn't view them AND my client uses Firefox.
