Hi. I have a series of short informational videos that I've filmed and placed on a web page. I've never been happy with the quality or size of the videos. I use Ulead VideoStudio 11 to edit the videos and convert them into .wmv format, then use RealProducer Basic 11 (when it works) from RealPlayer to convert them into .rv format so that users have a choice of formats from which to choose.
I lose a lot of quality when converting to the .wmv format and the files are relatively big: 8-9 MB for a 1.5 min. video.
So, what should I be doing to make the videos look better and be smaller? Are those impossible goals?
I'd also like to be able to make these available for download to iPods/Zunes, so what is the best format for that? How do I do that? Software suggestions?
