When Did Google Start Using Thomson Local Listings In Maps?

I noticed today on a Google map that business listings provided by Thomsonlocal

This is an interesting development, especially for ThomsonLocal

The attribution appeared just before Christmas. ThomsonLocal are feeding their advertiser listings onto Google Maps now.

I think Thompsons have had some kind of deal with Google for at least a year. A friend's wife works selling their online advertising and one of the selling points for appearing in the online directory is the results will also show up in Google Maps.

I have never seen any real evidence of this, can you sticky me the search term ?
