Whats missing in the UK search market?

Obviously most users are using the top tier search engines, but there are still a select few UK centric engines that are holding their own.

What does the UK need in terms of search, or is the segment being server adequately by the Googles of this world.

From my own experience, search is pretty well catered for. However, when you get in to the directories, that's a whole new kettle of fish.

I still see many directories with little or no content of value. Clicking through because they have well-optimised text uncovers sites sadly lacking any substance. The next thing I do is leave, and make a mental note not to revisit.
