Everybody's tweeting, checking in, and using FB, on their mobile phones. It's no surprise to me the networks are coming under strain. I'm sure the next Olympic games will have time to improve the infrastructure even further.

Sports fans attending the London Olympics were told on Sunday to avoid non-urgent text messages and tweets during events because overloading of data networks was affecting television coverage.

I heard they had incredible speeds of WiFi in the Tube...but I guess that's a smaller location with fewer simultaneous users.
