250 Million Tweets Per Day: Now What For Twitter? [news.cnet.com]
|"We want to be part of the fabric over every communication in the world, and we think we can reach every person on the planet." |
That goal, he said, makes Twitter distinct from what Facebook and Google+ is trying to achieve, which he described as social "as an end in itself."

250 million tweets a day is a lot, but doesnt facebook do something like 2 billion likes/comments per day, and 250 million photos a day.
"every person on the planet" that is optimistic.

That's a lot of tweets per day, the question is how can day convert it to dollars.
