Hi there,

Not sure if this is the right section, but says anything twitter, so here goes...

I've got a web-game written in HTML & JavaScript. When a player gets a Hi-Score I would like to give them the option of tweeting it. Something along the lines of:

"I've just scored 12345 points on ABC, can you beat it? www.foo-link-to-game.zzz"

I've had a look at APIs and not one single line of the stuff on Twitter is sinking in :O/ Had a look on YouTube also, but could find anything suitable.

Could someone please point me in the right direction, thanks :O)

P.s.
Ideally this would be done via JavaScript.

This sounds like pretty basic API functionality - all kinds of Twitter apps automatically tweet the results of this or that process, so you just know it can be done.

There are a lot of basics to get nailed down first with regard to oAuth security and such. What you hope for will not be a simple javascript copy/paste IMO. Are you reading through this Twitter API documentation [dev.twitter.com]?

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly :O)

Yup, I've looked at the Twitter Api Docs and looks a bit daunting. I guess I could figure it out, but I was kind of hoping for something like a piece of script I could cut-n-paste... a couple of meta tags to add... then going onto Twitter to promise I'm not a spammer :O)

Will have another look at the docs.
