Hi All

I need to know which part of the URL Google will place the most weight upon.

Example: www.site.com/keyword-category/keyword-sub-category/ID668

In this example the ID and number will replace the actual product. Will Google place a lot of weight on this ID and will it negatively influence the page, from an SEO point of view, by only showing the ID and not the actual Product name?

If there is no other option than to use the ID, will it be better to use a dash(-) instead of /.
Will this enable Google to read the URL like a directory?

Like this: www.site.com/keyword-category/keyword-sub-category-ID668

Thanks for your advice.

Stepho

id and number is of no use to Google. instead, place your product name like www.site.com/keyword-category/keyword-sub-category/product-name
