questions on best way to SEO them

3 links pointing to 1 page from another page.

1 link is a picture of a widget called widget.gif with widget as the alt tag. 1 is a text link with widget as the link text. 1 link is a 'compare this widget' picture, not optimized for anything.

question 1)
does just the first link count or do all 3 links count when calculating rankings for the target page?

question 2)
if I nofollow the first link do the other two still get followed?

question 3)
which link is best for SEO purposes?

question 4)
if only the first link counts, should I make sure the best SEO link is the first link in the source code?

Using Source Ordered Content, I would make the text link first. You could NF the other two, but I don't think the effect would be too detrimental.
