One of my website was ranking well for a semi competitive keyword and I was getting the regular traffic for that and related keywords in the past... today my site still have the same SERP position for that keyword but I dont get any traffic returned by that keyword anymore.... After this I really started doubting the traffic volume of many keywords, a thought also came into my mind whether Google Does rotation of position so that a particular website doesnt exceeds in traffic and other also gets the referral from it....

Nah. It's just that people are weird. The internet has proved it, again. Anyone in retail can tell you--sales go up, they go down and there is often no reason. Unless there is.
