When I try to access ftp://ftp.arin.net/pub/stats/arin/delegated-arin-latest I get the following error: "550 /pub/stats/arin/delegated-arin-latest: No such file or directory"
Is everyone seeing this or has Arin just somehow singling out every IP address I own and blocking it? That was a rhetorical question and it's not possible unless they block Sprints wireless broadband IP pool as policy.
Luckily I don't delete the previous file until I've downloaded the new file unlike a bunch of scripts I've seen that delete the delegated files first which are all now SCREWED! LOL
Anyone know anything about this?
Was it just renamed? Was it moved? Did it just fail to update and I'm the first to notice?
I can't find anything about it, tried a few searches, nada.

If you look there's a placeholder for the file name, and delegated-arin-extended-latest was updated on 8.23.2013 but delegated-arin-latest shows a date of 8.13.2013 but there's no file there if you click it or try to download it.
Wonder why nobody has alerted them or if alerted, that nobody there has fixed it?
In bot blocking and firewall communities it seems almost everyone and their brother, plus a a bunch of scripts, use that file so the lack of buzz about it malfunctioning is kind of baffling.
I wouldn't have noticed except my Block Country by IP page shows the date delegated-arin-latest was last updated on the web page so people know it's current and I noticed it said "8.12.2013" today and thought my cron job was broken! LOL

lets me right in and shows files dated through 8/23.
It let's me in and shows me current files too Don, said that much in the last post.
Try downloading delegated-arin-extended-latest and let me know if you have some special key to the kingdom the rest of us don't or if you get the same error. File date says 8.13.2013 and it borks if you try to access it.

Thanks Phranque. I actually looked around on ARIN and did a search for the file and just "delegated" and got squat. Not like it harmed them to maintain that file as it was already in place. Typical example of bureaucratic nonsense designed to cause problems for everyone except the committee that had nothing better to do than write that press release and discontinue the update of that file.
Based on the date of the press release it explains why the last day it was automatically downloaded was 8.13.2013 too :)
All the other delegated files from all the other sites are working just fine, it's just ARIN that has to be a PITA.
