|Something from Myspace IP|
| 11:30 pm on Aug 6, 2012 (gmt 0)|
The past couple of days I've been getting single or double page fetches from a Myspace IP:
63.135.84.X Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/5.0)
All the other browser headers look legit. However, its sending a proxy header as well and the origin IP is a Bellsouth IP.
Anyone run into this? The IP range is 126.96.36.199 - 188.8.131.52 but all the visits come from the single 63.135.84.X IP.

Strange, I'm getting it as MYSPACE INC. through 2 DNS sites, as well as a local DNS lookup.

The entire range on WHOIS is MySpace.
Some while back (perhaps February), I also began the extra step of Geo-IP location.
There are a variety of such tools on the www.
Some offer really poor, even inaccurate results.
A few are leaps and bounds above the rest.
There are still some occasional errors, however the one I used for this search is the most accurate.
Didn't mean to hijack your thread, however I thought the BellSouth-Calif thing was quite funny.
