Hey guys,
Google has indexed the "https" version of my websites homepage vs the "http" version. This happened recently, I have the canonical tag on the "https" version pointing to the "http" version of the homepage so not sure why Google decided to take the "https" version. Also, PR is being distributed to other pages that is https but not the http pages (really strange). Google seems to be slow picking up on these types of issues.

unless there is a valid reason for serving the home page on a secure protocol i would suggest using a 301 to redirect the home page to the http: version.
