Yahoo's linkdomain: shows nofollow links?!?

Hey guys,

So I did a recent search of my backlinks to see where they are coming from on Yahoo using the linkdomain: search; command (replacing seach; with my domain).

I was surprised to see a number of links show up from blog comments that I made month ago. I thought these blog comments were set to no-follow links.

If these backlinks are showing up in the Yahoo links results does this mean that they are do-follow?

Can links show up even if they are no-follow?

Thanks in advance,

~Sean

Welcome to the forum seanyg.

Yes. Yahoo shows No follow links.
Instead of using linkdomain search command, you can also use "Yahoo Site Explorer" to check backlinks.

If you use Open Site Explorer, you can see followed and no followed links separately by applying filters.

2 cents..

Thanks OMZen for the warm welcome (long-time troller & first time poster) and for the quick reply.

I will check out Open Site Explorer to use the filter. Thanks! :)
