msg:4221489 | 8:27 am on Oct 25, 2010 (gmt 0) | I am planning on launching a new series of three blogs. The blogs will be written in three different languages: - German - English - French The general topics of the blogs will be the same but I am planning on specifically targeting the different audiences with specific posts. Now I am wondering which TLDs would be best to choose. I am not going to geo-target a specific country with the blogs. The blogs should be read by all speakers of the designated languages all over the world. For the english version I am probably going to use a .com TLD. But for the german and french versions - what wopuld be best to do? .de and .fr are too much geo-targeted. What about readers from Austria and Quebec? I also don't want to use subdomains such as fr.domain.com and de.domain.com because I would like to establish all three blogs as totally different sites with different content - not connnected to each other. Does anyone have a good idea? Thanks a lot for your help.
