Letīs say I have old website url ".../3d-visualization-services.html" , but I am only interested in getting keyword "3d-visualization" ranked in search engines. (I am not that much interested in "3d-visualization-services" keyword phrase, because not that many people use it to search my site.)

Is it worth changing the page name to ".../3d-visualization.html" and doing 301 redirect? Does this help se ranking with word 3d-visualization or is it just waste of time?

To be honest, I wouldn't bother as the ranking influence is (IMO) so slight and if your current page is doing OK it seems a shame to do a 301 and risk losing (allbeit temporarily) the strengths your current page has.

Others may disagree, however and I would be interested to see their opinions.

Agree, much too trivial. Better to leave as is than do the 301.

Thank you for the answers. I came to the same conclusion.
