|what's going online? challenges, issues, unanswered questions?|
raising the questions, thinking critical

In my opinion the most interesting way to address a topic is by raising questions, and trying to figure out what is that makes it complex, what are the relations that are not straight forward, that need an analysis, that combinate factors. As relatively unexperienced and new in the fields of online marketing, SEO, SEM, ecommerce, I thus would like to hear from the specialists, as I try to figure out what are the forces in competition in those fields, what are the challenges, the problematic issues, the unanswered questions, the expectations, the current school of thoughts, the divisions, the approaches, the paradoxes and even the problems.
Well I am sorry if my style is bad and heavy, I hope that you get the idea and understand what I mean. Please also feel free to give your personnal opinion, and help me raising insteresting questions. Thank you in advance.

To me, it seems like most of the Intenet marketing world has the wrong moral approach when it comes to harnassing the the powers the Internet. The search engine optimisers I encounter have the attitude that the Internet was explicitly built for them to pillage and care little about adhering to any search engine guidelines, or any SEO ethics standards nor the capacity to consider how their Internet marketing strategies are affecting human lives on the other end of the planet ... no clue whatsover ... don't care either ... gangs of completely out of control ... link starving savages ...
