automatical content change just for SEO, good idea? merijnvw msg:4103382 10:40 pm on Mar 23, 2010 (gmt 0) Hi, I was thinking of a script that would change my pages a little bit after some time, as Google looks at how often a site changes. So the script would generate some minor changes, just to let Google think the site is constantly updating. Maybe this is an old idea, but is it good? Will it work? thanks

The search engines will rank a page based on a lot of factors. I don't think having a page update more often will help on a per page basis, but it might help get more of your pages indexed. It is a big MIGHT! :) Mack. wkathome msg:4110192 4:39 pm on Apr 5, 2010 (gmt 0)
You could sign up for an auto feed that would post to your blog on the days that you had other things to tend to.
