Multiple domains pointing to one server
Microsite banned!

 3:53 am on Oct 16, 2009 (gmt 0)

I have built a site for a client. On this same server I have created 4 sub domains that are one page informational's with one way links to the main site. Each sub domain site has it's own domain name.

One of these sub domains have been banned from google. I read at [websitehelper.com ] that, google doesn't like multiple domains pointing to the same server. Is this valid information?

Where can I find more info on investigating banned urls and getting them unbanned?

Thank You,

What leads you to believe that the sub-domain is banned?

When I do a search in Google for the domain name the site is not in the results (There are results, My url is not one of them). Also there is no PR rating on the google tool bar. Interesting enough a search in yahoo.com will find the site.

I would fix the issue that may have got you the penalty and submit a reconsideration request. [google.com...]

Also - just because there is no pagerank isn't a indication your website/sub domain has been banned. What happens when you do a site:mywebsite.com in Google?

Is your website indexed?
